Launched back in 2000 when bikes had triple chainrings, the Triple Rock was still open, and our knees didn't make noises, this steel classic is back in town for a limited time. Steamroller's street-proof double-butted 4130 chromoly steel frame and 700c x 38mm tyre clearance made it a fixture in the fixie craze, a go-to for messengers, and a trusty accomplice for riding to work, concerts, and shadowy dive bars through its 23-year run. Steamroller mixes track-bike features like 120mm rear spacing and track crank compatibility with touches for nicer everyday riding, like road bike geometry, rim brake mounts, and new brake cable guides for cleaner rear brake routing. No derailleur hanger, no rack mounts, no need. This Steamroller comes only in frameset form - all the better to make it your own.

Road bike geometry with track bike features: 120mm rear spacing, track-legal BB height, track crank compatible.
100% Surly 4130 chromoly steel frame and fork; double-butted main triangle, TIG-welded
Brake cable stops for cleaner rear brake routing.
1-1/8" threadless chromoly steel fork, brazed
Fork and seatstay bridge drilled for mid-reach (47-57mm) calliper brakes.
700c x 38mm maximum tyre clearance without mudguards (32mm with mudguards - rear mudguard eyelets only).
One bottle cage mount (seat tube).
Frame is powder-coated for a durable finish and E.D. coated for rust resistance.

Price includes frame and forks. The frame's headtube and BB shell will be faced. Headset not included (Recommended headset: FSA Orbit Equipe). The headset will be fitted if purchased with the frameset.
